Benefits of Kachnar
-The scientific name of Kachnar is ‘Bauhinia Varigata’. It is found from China to South-East Asia and Indian subcontinent. It is very much liked in India, especially in hilly areas and Himachal Pradesh is a prominent place.
-The juice of kachnar leaves is beneficial for diabetes patients, as it helps in controlling blood sugar level. At the same time, paste of its flowers provides relief in skin problems such as eczema, ringworm and itching.
In Ayurveda, ‘Kachnar’ is considered useful for reducing thyroid and lumps in the body. It has been considered beneficial in fixing blood-bile and problems related to it. Women have stomach ache in periods, so you can also make a decoction of its flower and drink it. This may reduce the pain.
