Bhumi Amla in India is known by different names in different languages, such as Bhumi Amla or Jungleki in Hindi, Tamalaki or Pahupatra in Sanskrit, Bhumi Nelli in Kannada, Bhui Amla in Marathi, Kizhukaneli in Malayalam and Nela Usir in Telugu.
