More than 1.4 crore children in the country affected by obesity

According to Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, more than 1.4 crore children in India are affected by obesity, which is the second largest figure in the world. He told that usually obese children are considered healthy, but it is not so and obesity in children is a big concern.

The National Health Mission suggests how the problem of obesity in children can be controlled and their future can be groomed. According to them, send children to the playground by limiting screen time, instead of processed food, feed fresh food, fruits and especially green vegetables. Reduce sugar and maida, stop eating outside and make a habit of sitting with family.

Obesity is a big problem in children not only in India, but also in America. According to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), obesity has increased in American children in the last 20 years, which has increased the risk of diseases and death. Since 2002, this has been revealed by analyzing eight national data sets on more than 170 health aspects. Obesity is a serious health risk for Indians. Obesity in big people promotes diseases like type-2 diabetes, heart disease and fatty liver.
